The Section of Pediatric Radiology offers a
full range of diagnostic services for children, including radiography, fluoroscopic
examinations and cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI and ultrasound). Faculty and staff are
specially trained to minimize patient discomfort and to accommodate special needs of
patients and family, endeavoring to make visits to Pediatric Radiology a pleasant
experience. Emphasis is placed on optimal imaging of children while minimizing radiation
exposure i.e. use of pulsed fluoroscopy and unique equipment specifically developed for
pediatric patients.
