The University of Michigan Emergency Radiology Division represents a specialized group of clinical imagers providing evening and nighttime interpretations primarily for the Emergency Department and Trauma-Burn Service. Over 70,000 visits a year are seen through this rapidly growing Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department. These radiologists collaborate with a broad spectrum of primary care and subspecialists, and see a wide range of both pediatric and adult pathology. The University is a tertiary referral center with a Level 1 Trauma Center, dedicated Burn Unit and Survival Flight crew. Equipment includes a state of the art 64-slice CT scanner with 3-D workstations, both 1.5 and 3T MRI scanners and fully digital PACS/Voice recognition dictation.

Faculty are involved in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. They participate in a weekly conference held by the Trauma-Burn surgeons to review interesting and difficult cases with pathologic correlation. The division is also involved in departmental resident conferences and clinical research projects. Faculty include Drs.
