Equipment
Available:
The Department
of Radiology at the University of Michigan is one of the finest
radiology centers within United States of America. We have state-of-the-art
equipment including six interventional angiography suites, two of
which have biplane neuroangiography capability. The biplane suites
include Siemens Axiom Artis with Leonardo 3D workstation as well
as Phillips Integris with 3D capability.
Our unit also
has access to six magnets, which includes a dedicated 3T unit for
research. The division has close collaborations with GE and Philips
Medical Systems. Our magnets have full 3D CSI, diffusion tensor,
fMRI and perfusion capabilities.
There are currently
seven CT scanners including some with 64 slice capability. These
units include full CTA and CT perfusion capabilities.
Our team performs
over 900 Interventional Neuroradiology procedures and diagnostic
cerebral angiograms. The Interventional Neuroradiology procedures
include entire range of endovascular and percutaneous procedures
for cerebral and head and neck disorders. We carry state of the
art tools within our interventional neuroradiology suites including
latest innovative products for endovascular management of Stroke,
Aneurysm therapy and intracranial atherosclerotic disease.
