Education is a key activity
of the Department of Radiology. Programs are available for the education
of medical students, residents and fellows in radiology, and practicing
radiologists.
The department offers outstanding training
in the clinical, scientific, and socioeconomic aspects of radiology
in its residency training program and
fellowships. Noon
teaching conferences are oriented toward resident education.
Regular division-sponsored weekly conferences
highlight important material for radiologists at all levels of training
and practice. Radiology Grand Rounds
presents overviews of important topics and the latest in research
findings. Postgraduate courses offer updates
on new and emerging imaging techniques to radiologists and other
health care workers. The department has begun providing links
to web-based learning resources from within and outside the department. |
